I'm getting ready to build a system, and I'd prefer to go w/ a KT266A/AthlonXP system. Previously Via Athlon chipsets and Creative Labs SBLive cards didn't play nice. What's the current status, re SBLive (5.1 and/or Audigy) compatability w/ Via KT266A, and for that matter P4X266?
Are the same conflicts present, or possible, as were experienced w/ KT133/133A? If there's still a hint of a problem I'll likely go w/ either a TB Santa Cruz or Hercules sound solution. I'm anxious to hear what your experiences have been.
