Sblive and SETI conflicts

When running SETI in the backround and playing any music I get random static (scratching sounds) I close SETI and the static goes away. Why is it conflicting?

That seems odd. Sure it's not a CPU time glitch? If you run Windows 2000, try setting the SETI thread for the lowest priority.
