If you use SBC for your local phone service and use Cingular for your cell service, you can save 10% on your Cingular bill by having the two bills bundled together. It's good on cell plans $29.99 and above.

Apparently, the only difference is that you get the exact same bill printed on the SBC paper instead of the Cingular paper. And you won't be able to charge it on your credit card anymore.

In the SF Bay Area, I called 800-310-BELL (the number from my bill) to order it.

<edit>Yes, it does work for new and existing customers.</edit>

And please, no my mobile phone carrier is better than yours thread crapping in this tread.

Can't beat this. Simplify your life with a single bill, and they pay you to do it... Only bummer is that you can't do it if you're an employee (as in the case of yours truly). It goes through a separate system that won't allow you to combine them. :(

This sounds good, I'm going to try to upgrade my plan and transfer it with my home bill.

I looked into this in the past and found that only some Cell rate plans qualify (ie home plans not national plans).
