i don't know if you really need a membership to eat at sams. the greeter at the door doesn't check cards ( i seem to remember costco did to divert you to the new member counter ) and the food cashier doesn't check membership cards.

you do, since the food court is locate inside sam unlike costco, where their food court is outside.

Costco pizza is a lot better than Sbarro. I tried Sbarro about 2 weeks ago not expecting much but it didn't even meet my low expectations. It was terrible.

It Varies, it's about 50/50 for me being indoor or out. Even indoor, they will let you just walk in and grab food.

I ate there only once back in 1999. It was the one in the basement of the World Trade Center. I was eating it and thinking to myself: I'm in freakin' Manhattan and I'm eating the worst pizza I've ever tasted. I'm never going to come in here again.

Is the flour more expensive? The water? The sugar? The yeast? The salt? The refrigerator? The employee's time? Cheese you up and buy...if you do that with dough, you do not deserve to serve pizza.

Blah blah's right. The price of ingredients is still up a bit. A 16" cheese pizza now costs a little under $3.00 to make (just in ingredients.) If you can't sell a high enough volume to cover your other overhead - electricity, heat, etc., then your pizza sucks and you belong out of business. Hear that SBarro??

Their quality varied- the one by me gives very good NY style pizza. ANother one by my house tastes like cardboard with ketchup on it. ::shrugs:: Either way, it's not normally my first choice to eat lunch.

Not all Costco's have it outside. Just the newer ones. They did that because Sam's and Costco, you don't need a membership to go to the Food court. You just need to tell the greeter in the entrance that you're going to the Food Court because it's not like you can buy merchandise from them anyways without a membership.
