SB Live Xgamer now BSOD's with new CPU!

I need some help from anyone. I just upgraded my CPU from a Celeron 300a@450 to a Celeron2 566@850, and now when a sound file tries to play Windows does the "blue screen of death" thing and exits the application! My system specs are below:

Intel Celeron2 566@850 (100mhz bus - stable otherwise)
128mb PC100
AOpen AX6B motherboard (latest Award BIOS for P3 Coppermine)
eVGA Geforce2 MX with NVidia reference drivers 6.31
Windows95b (OSR/2 - all patches applied)
SB Xgamer PCI (not 5.1) with Liveware 3.0 (not sure of driver revision - the one off the CD)

After sucessfully installing my new CPU, Windows started with a BSOD - something it never did before! After hitting the space bar to close the offending app, Win95 started OK except no thunder sound came out (first clue something was wrong!)

I immediately ran 3DMark2000 without no problems (but impressive scores with new CPU!!!). Now remember, 3DMark uses no sound during benchmarking!

Next up I tried to run MDK2 for benchmarking, and it failed to load with another BSOD, with same "fatal exception xxx" it did starting up Win95. At least now I know it's a sound card issue and not my new CPU.

Disabling sound card through Device Manager lets Win95 start without a BSOD, so I'm sure the culprit is in the configuration of the SB Live and/or Creative's software. Resetting to defaults didn't help.

Haven't tried anything else yet - figured I'd try several forums to see if anyone has had problems like this (probably so!). Looking through Device Manager showed no problems - no yellow "!" marks. May try a new driver or do a complete uninstall/reinstall of SB Live drivers and/or Liveware.

Any suggestions/fixes/ideas appreciated!

Get the lastest Sound Blaster drivers from Creative...There was a bug in the older drivers and P3 CPU's
