Is this a standard IDE cable? Have heard that, but have them on the way, and wanna paly with them as soon as i get them. If its a proprietary ribbon, where can i get one?

there's been quite a debate about this in the past...i've heard both that it IS and that it ISN'T a proprietary cable. creative claims that you can't use a normal IDE cable, but not sure if that's because they want to sell you THEIRS

search these forums for similar posts...try using keyword "live drive" and see what you find regarding it
