SB Live! drive work with Audigy???

I guess that would depend upon which Audigy drive you have. The origianl Audigy definitely does work with the Live Drive from the older SB Live Platinum since the connectors are exactly the same, and I have been using it this way for almost 2 years. Now the Audigy 2 and newer may be a different story but I have no experience here. It is more than likely that Creative changed the pinouts on the later Audigys to keep people from using the older Live Drives on them because they were not selling enough Platinum cards due to the earlier compatibility.
 
Are you saying you can use the original pci audigy cards with any 5 1/2 front slot live drive, or does it have to be the platinum model? I think i am a bit confused here.
