SB Live and VIA KT7A

SB Live cards were not working right with VIA chipsets at one time. is it safe now? i just put a t-bird 1.2 together with an ABit KT7A-RAID and I want a Dolby 5.1 sound card with digital output (Santa Cruz is analog out). Do I have any other options? I would rather not have the SB Live anyway if there's another choice.

Nope its still not safe to go back in the water. What about the acoustic edge ? sorry not familiar with the specs. on it.

My hangs only ended when I switched from SB live to onboard sound. Now I've been up for about 12 days straight
