I'm trying to figure this out. On my 3.2Ghz E2140, I get around 5M each core. Although, I seem to recall seeing 7M on each core recently. Don't know why such big difference.

On my friend's 3.2Ghz P4 Northwood w/HT, running only one instance of SB, I get 4M.

On my other friend's computer, on a 3.75Ghz E5200, I get 6.08M and 6.18M, with internet radio running in the background.

What kind of speeds is everyone else getting?

other thing to keep in mind is that SoB seems to be faster with more cache

So your E2140 at 3.2 with 1024K cache will be slower than the E6850 at 3.2 with 6144K cache and compare that to the QX6850 with 8192K cache it's even faster.

So for example an E6850 at 3.6 can be faster than your friends E5200 at 3.75
