I know I seen others with this problem before, so I hope someone can help m. Under sb live drivers install it always hangs and reboot when it installs sb 16 emu. Yes, i tried different pci places.
Thanx for help

Go into Windoze in Safe Mode and disable SB Emulation in Device Mangler.
SB Emulation is only for DOS based games (OLD STUFF) and is rarely needed anymore.
This will also free an additional IRQ.

You have an old version of the SB Live! Drivers.

If you had downloaded the newest version from creativehelp.com, the SB16 Emulation would have attempted to share the LPT port, as opposed to trying to get an IRQ all to itself, as it does with the older versions.

This would also have prevented any conflicts and crashing during install.
