Saying Others are Hot Around Your GF/BF

I forget what show was on T.V. but I know Julia Stiles was on it. I remarked "She's hot" without thinking anything of it and my gf gets mad. WTF? I can't say a celebrity is hot? Like I'm gonna cheat on my gf with Julia Stiles, or that I don't think my gf is good looking. I asked her if she thought any guy celebrities were good looking and she said "Josh Hartnett, if I saw him I'd go up to him and grab his ass and run away." Hahaha that was kinda funny.

Then another time at a party she says to me, "Do you think that girl is cute?" I looked at the girl she was talking about and she was pretty good looking. I said "No" cause I knew she would've been mad. Well not mad mad, but displeased. Heh.

Similar situations happen to those of you with significant others?

It's perfectly healthy and acceptable to find others attractive. Just don't do the total 180-degree head spin in the mall, complete with drool.

I had a weird image of that a couple weeks ago. I was sitting on my boyfriend's bed..and his other apartmentmates walked in...and I was sitting there thinking..if one of them brought back a REALLY hot girl and my boyfriend turns around and starts gushing and drooling over her...what would I do. It was a silly thought...but this thread reminded of it.

I'll admit it bothers me A LITTLE when he checks out other girls (especially if even I think they're attractive)..but I know that at the end of the day...I'm the one he's going to bed with. So that helps me to tune down my jealousy/anger.

But there's a whole other issue that I don't want to bring up here (b/c I tend to get ripped apart by ATOT-ers when I post about my bf)...so I'll end my post here.

The thing that girls don't understand is that your boyfriend/SO is with you, not with the other girl he finds attractive. Ultimately he is going home with you at the end of the night, and he loves you. He isn't chasing the other girls anymore, and chasing is very different from looking.

But:
1) looks aren't everything
2) you don't usually get what you want
3)obviously if you were that obsessed with them, you'd dump your SO and go stalk them
