Say I'm new to the forum

As much as people will say otherwise, I really don't think there is a typical ATOT'er. We are from all walks of life, good and bad, entertaining and not so entertaining. That's what makes it great here.

25 year old asian who likes spicy food, manga and skinny chicks
21 year old white kid who lives at home and makes $100K+
42 year old guy who is twice divorced and raising an average of three kids who still likes building his own computers

it varies from day to day

Perceived typical?

~30
White as hell
Either still a student or making ~$50k

That's just my perception of the typical AT'er. I know plenty of posters don't follow those guidelines.

25
married to a model
800 Credit Score
5000+ Sq Foot house (fully paid off)
multiple German luxury cars
300k+ yearly salary

This pretty much sums it up.

And lets not forget about the free vacations from the credit card rewards.

Nobody on ATOT "EVER" pays interest on a credit card, or a late free.

Normal people pay their bills on time. The worst 10% pay 90% of the interest.

I dont.

Why do you have a beef with people who do not use credit cards.

<seems this thread has already derailed into "yet" another credit card debate>

Obvious troll is obvious.

This thread has commonly gone on about people who claim to have lavish things. A credit card is not lavish.

These days they're basically forced on us. I got a Costco membership, I tried to pay with Visa, the guy says they don't take Visa or Mastercard. I had to get an American Express through them just so I can buy shit (I refuse to carry around a big wad of bills).

Come to think of it, needing to get an amex card is probably why my parents stopped shopping there a decade ago :hmm:

Can't you use the ATM across from the registers?

Makes a big paycheck once a month and blows it all on booze and women, then begs money off of friends and relatives to pay his mortgage.

Your doing it wrong.

Nothing but stuff regulated by the state and federal government is "forced" on you.

Its like walking out of wal-mart/best buy/frys,,,, and the buzzer at the door goes off, how many people stop and how many people keep walking? I keep walking because the store does not have the right to detain me.
