i think its really a cool tattoo. i don't have any, too much of a wusse for pain, but good for you that you did what you want! It's your body, your temple, decorate ANY WAY YOU want!!! 🙂

I have a cousin that's 41. She just got cherries tattooed on her....um.... well, I guess it's on her pubic region. She said that they look good now, but when she's old, they'll look like a set of click-clacks. I laughed SO hard at that.

Significance of cherries? This was more of a whimsical thing for me, I think. I really love the 50's era and retro stuff and they remind me of that. I didn't want just cherries, so I had him add the dots and the stars. I have about four more tattoos in mind and those are much more meaningful than the playful cherries. I don't know when I'll get them, but someday.... It's too damn addictive!!!!

yourdeardaniel - I'm blessed with glow-in-the-dark-white skin. Okay, see-through skin. I'm a veiny little bitch. I tan when I'm actually in the sun, but my skin is rarely exposed. (I suppose that's a good thing when it comes to skin cancer. It's really just because it's too damn humid in Virginia in the summer. lol)

Frustrated - Naw, it's cool. EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion. That's why I don't get upset when someone doesn't like it. There's things other people do that I don't like, but that's why I don't do them. *Shrug* 🙂

No tattoos on feet? They'll tattoo just about anything! haha For me, the tattoo wasn't very painful at all and I'm one of the biggest pussies out there when it comes to pain. It's weird, it's almost like therapy of sorts for me. My fibro and arthritis pain I don't really have a hell of a lot of control over, but this I do. It's weird to explain. lol

i've never seen a tat on someones foot before.. but i guess i don't go around lookin at peoples feet.. looks good though.. all that matters is that you love it, forget what all these people are saying..

I've seen several on feet, so it wasn't that foreign a concept to me. I have a couple of friends that have them and my cousin has stars on hers. 🙂
 
i personally think tattoos are disgusting. Think about when your 80 and have wrinkly skin, its gonna be all wrinkly and saggy.

He is a friend of a friend (or two) so I got a pretty good deal on it. He also did the SECOND re-touch on my tattoo that I got done in Virginia for free. For some reason, the tattoo just wouldn't hold the other guy's red color. We'll see if it holds this time. (I'm thinking it will.) My mom, Tim, my friend and her husband and my two younger cousins were there. Good times. 😀

pretty stupid looking tattoo IMO. Now I am not a fan for the most part, but some can look decent if they are small enough and in the right spot. That is neither.
