Say hello to my little friend...

SunnyD

Belgian Waffler
Friendly little copperhead right outside the door to the building at work. Such a cutie... snorgle snorgle.

Everybody else around here is all flipping out... "ZOMG, poisonous snake right outside the door!" 🙄

I jumped off a rock in the desert once and landed on a rattlesnake, right on its head killing it

It was awesome, and scary

While I would not freak out like your co-workers, I would be cautious. Growing up in rural Texas I saw my fair share of copperheads, rattlers and cotton mouths. The Young ones are the worst, their smaller size allows them to strike higher on the leg, above a boot so they have a good chance for penetration. Also the younger snakes will pump more venom due to inexperience. I hope you able to get him moved away to safety though.
