No, this isn't directly suggested, but this is the tone Im getting.
If history tells us something, it tells us violence breeds violence, intolerance breeds intolerance (on both fronts). Religious suppression only helped spread it.
The best way to keep peace and promote it is to mind your own business, worry about what your kids are learning. If someone wants to go to church, pray 40 times a day, read their holy book, pass this down to their kids, how does this affect you one bit? Now there are some religious rituals that I don't agree with, but who am I to tell this person that they can't/shouldn't do it, or pass this down to their kids?
