I had the pleasure of seeing a Maserati MC12 in person a couple years ago along with chatting with the owner and seeing it run. Only about 50 of those were ever produced.

I have seen an MC12 in person as well. It was at the Ferrari dealership north of Toronto. Was it 50 or 100 made? I know half of them were for racing and half to be sold to the public.
 
Shit just seeing a GT40 on the roadside with the hood (hatch?) open and checking out the suspension/engine was enough for me for a few years of autodroolage.

When I first got my Mustang back in 2005, I was just driving around and low and behold, a new Ford GT pulls up next to me. We toyed around a bit then I think he got bored because he disappeared quite quickly.
 
Don't tell anyone, but I reached across the velvet rope and touched it.

Also, they said that out of the 14 R's built in 2011, this is the only one that has a polished finish, the rest are matte.

Actually, it wasn't for sale. But it turns out it didn't have cup holders anyways, for 2.2 million you'd expect cup holders....oh, and it's not street legal either.
