Have not seen that since I was a little kid! Even had the bells and everything.

Of course I ran up to it and bought something. :D

At least they can't drive fast.

My ice cream man goes about 35 thru the neighborhood. The kids always miss him. No idea how he makes money.

Dickie-Dee!!!

Used to see them all the time back in the day. Only see one occasionally now. Usually near parks and playgrounds.

I knew this guy back in 1994 and he would go everywhere he could selling ice-cream and stuff. He told me he would make over $1k in the summer doing it. He was a great guy and customer. I worked at a variety store back then. I miss him. I hope he's doing well.

For whatever reason no ice-cream truck ever comes through my neighborhood. Never gave it much thought till now.

I'm glad ours goes fast through our neighborhood - the truck has had only a single 'song' for the 6 years. Pretty sure it's the same thing playing in Olds basement over and over again

Never seen actual trucks here but when I was on vacation down south in Wasaga Beach they did have one that would come right on the beach, it would just circle the beach area.

I used to see them all the time as a kid. It was a nice treat to have the Good Humor truck show up in our neighbourhood. I used to get that one in the plastic cone with the gumball at the bottom.

Like 10 years ago my wife was telling me abo9ut her friends kid. She got this great deal where she could rent to own one of these things. The deal was she also had to buy the ice cream from the place that was selling her the cart.

I don't remember the exact details but it was something like 500 down or something. I told my wife it was a horrible idea. The girl did it for a month and lost her ass.

That's pretty random to see in not a very populated area.

We have a guy with a fleet of Mr. Softee trucks, then we have these old school Puerto Rican shaved ice type 'Piragua' carts at a few spots. Let's see how long they last as this area gets gentrified by the month
