Preview for SAW IV on a Saw Trilogy website. I love irony. I guess so do the Saw producers.

It's my understanding that the market for torture/horror movies is in strong decline.

Ive seen 2 and 3 in the theaters on opening night and it was completely packed both times. They have done well.

Personally, I have enjoyed all 3 of the Saw movies and odds are I will enjoy the 4th. :)

I just saw 3 a few days ago. That was suppose to provide closure for the series. Can't imagine there is a need for a 4th.

Hostel 2 and Captivity did horribly recently. But I think the Saw series is seen as being the master of this genre so people may still keep going.

Did you actually watch the end? Of course there's a need for a 4th.

The end, like the end where he kills the guy, and sees a video of his son being captive, or is there an additional ending?

Every movie is always packed on opening night. Every time.

These movies started out decently good, but are getting worse with each sequel. Saw 3 was barely watchable.
