lead singer is a lot older looking than i thought and Stacy's Mom is their worst song. they are so above that song - talk about a teeny-bop enticer, that's all it is.

yeh, that is what Stacy's Mom is all about. they were sick of not making money, and sat back and figured out what was marketable. sad, but they have to eat.

My roommate is a big fan of them, but I can't convince him they aren't extremely talent-filled, which he thinks they are.
Atleast he agrees with me that John Mayer is a talentless piece of crap, I have friends that can play guitar and sing way better. Hell I could probably sing better than FoW =P

I am a Chevelle/A Perfect Circle/Tool/NIN/Stone Temple Pilots person myself.

Incidentally, "Stacy's Mom" was in this months issue of either Maxim or Stuff (a lot of AT people are probably getting free subscriptions to both from various hot deals threads). She looks OLD, like her face is turning leathery from years of too much sun.
