Coolest opening credits I have EVER seen!!! The music, unfortunately, is the WORST I have ever heard!! 😛

God that song is awful!!

The movie was really one of the best 007 films I've seen. Madonna should have been left out. Halle's acting was only mediocre, IMO.

I'd have to agree, what a crappy song that was. But with more movie technology, the better special effects. I loved that car 🙂.
 
It would have been better if Halle and Frost had managed to tear off more of each other's clothing during their fight scene......and maybe tumbled into some olive oil........

Why can't they come up with good bad guys anymore??

I mean come on, the fast n furious guy as the evil henchman with diamonds in his face, and even his clone has it? wtf??

I enjoyed the movie but I wouldn't classify it as one of the better Bond films. Nor is it the worst.
But I would say there are more Bond films that are better than Die Another Day, than ones that
aren't as good as it.

The song wasn't bad, its just was a poor attempt by Madona to get herself a Bond Song.

i thought the beginning was one of the coolest ever because he was captured and stuff and bond never has that happen to him. but the rest of the movie was horrible. i actualyl like the madonna song but i hated her roles in the movie. the whole ice palace thing was retarded.

I liked parts of it, but had some serious issues with other parts:

1) Why did that guy leave those diamond implanted in his face?
2) The bad guy had his own gadget car! You can't do that! Only Bond can have a gadget car 🙁
3) The heat ray thing was a bit hokey. If a 747 could fly through it, I don't think it would do much damage to military hardware.
4) The Madonna theme was terrible. Worst Bond song ever. Very out of place 🙁 x 2
5) Worst scene in the movie: Where CGI Bond was para-surfing off of that giant wave. It looked so fake it made me cringe.
6) Did anyone else get the feeling that gadgets were being used to just show gadgets in the movie? If you look in the older movies, they actually furthered the plot. In this movie, it's like they were saying "Hey...we haven't used the car yet...throw it in there." I dunno...it just seems like a lot of those types of scenes were forced.

On the plus side, Jinx was a cool character ((yummy!)) The Austin Martin was cool, John Cleese as Q works very well. I still think that Brosnan is the best Bond since Sean Connary. I give it a 2.5 out of 5 stars.
