Well, what was your existence like during the mid-late 90s that would explain such a lack of awareness of a major cultural phenomenon?

I'm not buying it.
That said I had to look up who that Kobe guy was. In my defence basket ball isn't a thing over here and they are pretty confused on the news about who he is.
I guess it would be like a cricket player dying for you guys.

I understand something like that. I don't know any soccer or cricket player's names.

But Seinfeld was such a huge show, that was on for many years, so odds would be someone living anywhere in North America would have at least heard the name at least time in their life (TV show, movie, commercial, etc). It would be like someone never hearing of a show like Cheers, Married With Children, or Frasier (not necessarily even watched an episode, just that they know it exists).

Mid 90's? I was busy exploring the Internet and going to community college and by the late 90's I was working full time plus overtime, and also taking a few classes as well. 🙄

Cheers was worth watching, which I watched with my mother. Married with Children was side clutching funny, which I also watched with my mother. Another show well worth seeing that I also enjoyed with my mom, was Night Court. For some reason the local TV stations didn't air at all.

Frasier? Was that another show that wasn't worthwhile to bother with?

Fraisier's not bad, but it's no Cheers.

Is that Lucy Lawless who played in Xena and Hercules? Two shows that I watched at the time for some rather strange reason. Neither one were nothing to write home about. Didn't Fabo star as Hercules who wasn't even a third rate actor who also waste cover space on cheap ass romance novels?

As a Hunter must study his prey, I read some of those in High School in understand girls my age. Man did I lose a great deal of respect for young women back then. 🙄

"despite her protest, she enjoyed being swept off her feet". "She protested too much when the man pick her up and carried her to his bedroom as she was beating on his back". Or even better, "While she strongly said NO, she loudly moaned as he entered her".

Now you can see why.🙄

You guys remember the scene in The Wrestler where Marisa Tomei was stripping & the kids at the one table were complaining she was too old? 1K quatloos says whm'74 was one of them.
