PFAhaha, those things look even more hideous in person! Has anyone else had this displeasure? Well, this thread might seem pointless, but I thought it was necessary to point and laugh at the Aztek yet again.

For what it is worth, one of the drones at our local CompUSSR has one. Somehow I see the karma in that......

I've seen about 10 but only two count since the other eight had dealer plates. My first encounter was seeing one of these eyesores parked at the entrance to a Pontiac dealer. i had to fight the urge to swerve into it on purpose to keep it from entering society.

I've been checking into the Pontiac Vibe. Sounds pretty damn cool. It's AWD with the 180HP engine that's in the Toyota Celica GTS. It comes with a 6 speed tranny too!

I'm a sucker for sport wagons. That's what this thing is.
 
I've had the displeasure of seeing 3 on the road. :frown: How someone could design something so hideous is beyond my comprehension.
 
I saw one walking to class a month or so. The thing is even more hideous in person. I contemplated walking out in the street and taking one for the team to try and remove it from circulation.
 
lucky for you guys, i have to live with seeing one. My neighbor right across the street in my culvesac(spelling?) has one. I'm glad he picked black because bright red or yellow would be even easier to see.
 
go do some "body modification" on your neighbors with a sledge hammer, when something looks that bad, anything youdo to it has got to make it look better
 
My friend and I were talking when I saw it roll through traffic. I stopped him in the middle of his sentance and just pointed. His jaw dropped...he laughed, hysterically. It was great, we were laughing all the way till we got to my house 🙂
 
there are plenty of them around here.

they aren't that bad, they dont look much different than any other suv.

It wasn't the Vibe, it was an open top Aztec. The Vibe is just a concept car now, but it looks awesome 😀

actually the one more scary than the Aztek (knowing its got a bad design) anyone seen the Isuzu with the front that looks like a shark that is about to bite. I am not sure what its called, I have seen 2 of them so far. I will try and find it..
 
Unfortunately, the Asstek was a bad gamble by Pontiac. They can produce great cars like the Grand Prix GTP and Grand AM, but they were trying to steal thunder from the XTerra and failed miserably.

Its built on the same chassis as most GM minivans and powered by the same engine, so its basically a wannabe SUV for yuppies with no taste. I pity anyone stupid enough to buy one.
