Just because you don't like it Brandon, doesn't mean other people don't. Owning a Mustang is something you probably will never understand, and that's fine. You like the new look style cars with high revving V6's..fine..that's your decision...but don't knock everyone else who knows what a great car the Cobra is.

You could say the same thing to Compuwiz1, but I forgot...he agrees with your viewpoint;)

How are you so sure it's "better put together"? What are these "higher quality interior materials"? What the weight distribution of the of the 350Z? I'm sure the brand new '03 Cobra will "creak and groan" over rough roads...

Ford vs Nissan in interiors...umm OK. Nissan is no Honda, but they are DEFINITELY not down in Ford territory. Structure wise, the Mustang is no where as tight or honed as the Z's chassis/body. We're talking a quarter-century old Fox platform with reinforcements thrown in here and there to a newly designed FM chassis for the Z. Weight distribution: 53/47

Personally, I don't understand why any car needs this? Regardless, I'm sure a GPS kit could be added on to any Mustang. Maybe it's not available right from Ford, but I'm sure there are several aftermarket kits available if this is something you want..

Aftermarket kits looked tacked on compared to integrated factory units.

WTF is your point? It may brake better, but that is mostly due to the lighter weight of the 350Z. Both cars have very advanced braking systems, and IIRC, the Cobra comes with 18" Aluminum wheels...

'03 Cobra comes with 17" aluminum wheels.

I think you are forgetting one important point for some people...there is a BIG difference between a high horsepower V6, and a high horsepower V8..regardless of HP and torque ratings.. I would take a 350+ HP Supercharged V8 over a ~275HP V6 anyday. There is no feeling like mashing the gas in a V8 and getting thrown back against the seat. Sure, some of the high HP V6 cars will have good 0-60 and good 1/4 mile times..but it's never the same.

True, different strokes for different folks...but I think my money for a new car would be better spent with the Z. If you want a fast Cobra, why waste your money getting a new one. Buy an old one and slap a charger on it. I just don't see that Mustang being worth $35,000. Spend $5,000 more and get a C5.

Yeah, I know...I've never been into older cars... The only vette I remotely liked the the late 90's style...but the C5 is gorgeous..

It's funny, at a lot of the car shows up here, the Vette guys HATE the C5, but people who never really liked vette's like the C5..weird..;)

Was the one you saw a special import? if you have enough $$$ i think you can have them imported "early" from the country of manufacture before their local release.

Sweet car. :)
