Saw a Bugatti Veyron today in Dubai

But I was slow with the Camera, so I only got a picture of the rear. I haven't seen as many exotics on this trip here as I normally do, but this one made up for it.

Probably because Dubai is rapidly imploding.

Beautiful car.

I see one once in a while on the 405 fwy in West L.A.
A while ago, I saw an Ariel Atom. I didn't know what it was at the time, until I saw the Top Gear episode on YouTube.

What did you expect of a country built on slave labor?

That's not the worst, I read an article the other day (can't find it now) that went into how the workers are promised high wages, decent conditions, and given a loan to fund their travel. Upon arrival the construction company confiscates their passports, pays them a tiny fraction of the promised amount, and tells them "if you don't like it, leave." Of course, without a passport that is difficult, and if they do make it back home they are on the hook for the loans they took out to cover travel and work visas.

You mean this article?

I like this quote in particular:
"The Emirates' water is stripped of salt in vast desalination plants around the Gulf - making it the most expensive water on earth. It costs more than petrol to produce, and belches vast amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere as it goes. It's the main reason why the residents of Dubai have the biggest average carbon footprint of any human being - more than double an American's."

Anything else you want to point out to discredit Dubai that's not relevant to the topic?
I'd still go there and I bet the place will be booming after the economy recovers.
