With Tom Hanks on the Allied side I wish the Germans had won.

Imagine what a nice result it would have given to see a real bullet hit him in the head!

Someone has some issues 😛

I think Tom Hanks is a good actor :\

Yeah I enjoyed "Shaving Ryans Privates" too, It was a great flick.

Oh wait you mean the Tom Hanks version.

Sorry.😱

Is this a good movie? I'm considering renting it... but... not... quite.. there....

Saving Private Ryan

Best WWII movie.....EVARRRR!

Band of Brothers

Best WWII Series.....EVARRRR!

I personally preferred The Thin Red Line and Full Metal Jacket. Saving Private Ryan was a little too patronizingly patriotic for my tastes.

Dude, that movie is phenomenal. Best war movie I've ever seen.

Haven't seen Band of Brothers yet (no HBO, banned from Blockbuster 😕 )

How does one get banned from Blockbuster?

Get The Thin Red Line or U-571, much better. The only thing Saving Private Ryan is good for is the action, plot blows in my opinion.

I agree with this. SPR is amazing from a technical perspective, though, and the first 30 minutes are incredible to look at.

Well that was a scathing remark.

U-571 stole several hours of my life, and I want them back...it was like the Gigli of war films, so horrible that you want to die after seeing it...
