Saving ASF/ASX content

Hi,
I'm trying to save/capture an ASX (ASF video) from the web.
Tried SnagIt 6.02, but seems that since the video is overlayed, it captures a black square.
I've also tried ASF-Recorder v1.1 but for some reason it hangs at 99% and doesn't save well. The file I do get doesn't seem to have an index, and doesn't play at all.

Any Ideas how to cause this horrid media player display the video in a way I can capture? Maybe a way to re-index my existing .wmv file (ASFRecorder saves it as .wmv). Or maybe recommend a different method/program that does it well?

Any tips will be welcome,

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately they use zip passwords and I can't use their package.
