Just wondering why mods don't allow coupon codes? Seems so much easier to just post the code, instead of linking another site or searching for it.

sometimes coupon codes are not for public, just certain customers. I guess the mods just don't want to deal with the legal problem, should it arise.

All purchases are final.

Airline tickets cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged or transferred to other individuals. Credit will not be given for any unused tickets, and cannot be used towards any future purchases. Change fees are not an option.

It's priceline without the bidding. You also get NO say in times, connections, etc.

Fair Warning!

I have used Hotwire before. Save a ton of $$$$$ with them. We bought 6 tickets with an average savings of $30 a ticket. You just need to be a bit flexible in your travel. Plan a day extra for departure.

Not sure how long is your trip. For a long trip,
I will pay the addational $30 if it will get me there early.

I used Priceline for the first time a few months ago. I saved $125 on a round trip ticket from Nashville to Portland, ME. Total cost of the ticket was $221 after they tacked the tax and fees on top of my $190 bid price. As long as you just plan a whole day for travel, you'll be fine. I ended up traveling in the afternoons since those flights tend to have more problems in the summers...but nothing went wrong. You just have no say in what airline you're flying, the exact time you're leaving, and it's a non-refundable ticket. Hard to swallow at first, but it all worked out. ;)

Very pleased with my Hotwire experience. Bought 4 tickets from Denver to DC at $170 apiece, going rate was $350. Did have to fly out at 7am!
