Their website is old, it hasn't been updated in a while. As to the fill-rate.... It's still more than enough for good FPS. And you could have dual-chip solution as well. As to "being eclipsed by NV30".... Their PC-chip is NOT coming to the market. Infineon is killing the silicon-process, and that kills the chip. They are testing it in-house but it will not be launched to general market. Had Infineon decided to stay in the eDRAM business, we might already have Axe in the stores. And remember: The specs in their website could have very little to do with the specs of Axe. Axe could have more pipelines and/or higher speed (not to mention RAM).
Isn't it a pity then that the Axe is now...well...axed? :)

Would it not help BB if they let some reviews do some reviews of the Axe? At least that might restore some faith in the company. I am sorry, but if you get burned once relying on one company then you think that BB would have wised up and designed the product so that they could have it made at multiple companies. Or at least make it somewhat easy to transfer production to another company.

It is no ones fault but BB.
