as i promised i would update events, its now be offically changed to Oregon to Africa, meaning that the donated things that we collected would be seperated between Oregon and Africa. there are also car washes that the classes are doing, dates can be seen on the website. Also 95.5 is more then likely going to be at one of those car washes, we've already gotten in contact with them, and theres also a big possibility that its going to be over the radio as a advertisment. So thats basically whats going on recently.

so people have already made donations with the expectation that the money will go to Africa, but you guys changed your mind and will give some of the money to someone else. you sound like the fvcking red cross :|

if anyone dosent believe whats going on i am willing to take pictures and post them online. ill be taking pictures of the chart, car washes, and other stuff related to this project.

You'll get nothing from me, except support for FFM. He seems to have his head screwed on straight, unlike SOME people in this thread.

You don't understand. They have to have 8 kids so that at least one will survive to become an adult. There are other factors besides hunger, such as sickness and injury.

It's not that we don't believe you. It's that we don't give a fvck about the country of Africa.

yes we do have issues that reside within our own boarders but i dont believe its as large of a scale as Africas issue. Ever few seconds someone in this world dies from hunger. In america we are able to surive but over there there struggling to live!

I'm stuggling to live, i have been out of work for 10 months, send me some damn money or food.

Sending aid to african nations is not going to work. They must all want to help rebuild and prosper, the few rich that are their take all the aid we send and use it for their gains and purposes. The whole somalia blackhawk down thing is because of that. We try to help and all it does is hurt us and them.

If you think one small class is going to change the whole continent of Africa, you're crazy. How much could you possibly collect? Why not focus on a small community at first, instead of leaping head first into the jungle? And if you think people are just dying in Africa from hunger, take a look on Google.

As far as donations of food are concerned, the US has donated much of the surplus of our nation's food to countries in Africa. Due to the corrupt governments in many of those nations, the food never reaches the people it was intended for. Why should we fight a losing battle? No one said we aren't trying, what more can we do?

hah, bullsh*t. africa's population is still increasing at a rapid rate even with aids and the rest of it. too many cling to old style reproduction even as modern health care/infrastructure for clean water etc creep in and boost survival rates.
