BMWs are very nice cars. Its obvious you never driven one. Dinan on the otherhand, is way out in left field with their prices. It just goes to show you how much profit they really are making. There are better and more economical tuners out there.

I have heard that BMW's are good, but not really worth the price. I think its more of a status thing. Thats my 2 cents.

Some are, then again there is a reason that the 3 series wins almost every car mag review of sport sedans. They are amazingly tuned.

There's two sides to that coin. Ten years ago . . . there really wasn't an entry-level luxury sport class to speak of so it was BMW and . . . .

These days the competition still has issues:
Acura . . . still hasn't figured out that cars can actually move on the other two wheels (RL, RDX, MDX, notwithstanding)
Audi . . . heavy . . . in weight, steering, and maintenance
Lexus . . . better to ride than to drive
Infiniti . . . interior and NVH by Nissan . . . but G35 is a contender . . . and would outsell 3-series if they had a convertible
Domestic US . . . HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Subaru . . . all sport no luxury
Mitsubishi . . . all sport no luxury

I'm old enough to remember duds like the 318ti.

When the G35 came out it did out do the 3 series in car mags, much cheaper, more power good quality. I've noticed that german cars are having a lot of little electronic problems here and there lately.

here is one linker
