Save $20,000 Off Tube Amp If You Purchase By Jan 1, 2005

Anyone spending that much money on an amp needs to be shot. I don't know how you could tell between a $350,000 and a high quality $10,000 dollar amp.

I'm guessing... the price includes free cybernetic hearing-enhancement surgery? Or a frontal lobotomy? Whichever allows you to enjoy your $350,000 amp more, I guess.

You get a servant to keep the thing from breaking down for a year. That is a rediculous price. If you look at the bottom picture, it doesn't even have neat wire routing. I need to get into this racket.

Obviously for the audiophile with more bling than brains. And I have no doubt that they are out there.
These are the same yahoos who pay two grand for a custom painted PC case and five grand for a high
end "gaming" system, when, in fact, the only person getting gamed is them. 😀

You're kidding right? This goes waaaaaaaaay beyond someone buying an Alienware or Voodoo PC. This is like buying a Formula 1 car as your daily driver.

Heh - it's like going either way in "The Italian Job" - you could go for the Aston Martin Vanquish or the stereo system that could blow the clothes off a girl.

Although Seth Green only went w/ the NAD T163 - which is hardly even close to this. Although, this doesn't really surprise me all that much since some people pay for the Transparent Cable's $45,000 pair of lampcord!

Is the free Rolls-Royce with purchase after MIR offer still valid?

Can I buy two, and use a friend's address?

Does it come with zero-percent financing... for the rest of my natural life?

I think I've found my new profession. Find insanely-rich people, and sell them "overclocked" audio equipment made out of antique parts.

You do realize, of course, that these are monoblocks? The discerning audiophile uses one monoblock per speaker. For your run-of-the-mill 7.1 system, you are going to need 8 of these puppies.

And don't forget that everything needs to be setup with Wangdorfer Ultra isolation mounts
manufacturered from virgin Brazilian rubber, $2400 / pair. Add in a couple of handmade teak and titanium speaker stands @ $8000 each and you're ready to Bach and roll. OH, and don't forget that one final piece - the Big Johnson 6500 facet disco ball, $29.99 this week only (!) at your local Walmart store. 😀

wow... 100000 ohm resistance. eh..... if you can afford it... why not? as for me, id rather put that kind of money towards a house.

I would think that any audiophile would bi-amp their speakers.
