After Yemeni Shi'ite insurgents had crossed into Saudi territory yesterday and seized and held Saudi territory. The Saudis have moved troops up, too.

Remember, Yemen is Bin Laden's family's home turf, and Al-Qaeda has been active there, since the central government is just about as weak as in Afganistan.

I guess they'll finally be able to use all that equipment we've sold them over the years.

It's not really a bad deal if we can get the extremists on either side to kill each other off (that is, if the USA is not in the middle of it all).

I'm thinking the Sunni in that part of the world consider the "Yemeni Shi'ite" to be rather extreme. But then again, lopping off hands for stealing in Saudi Arabia ain't Ozzie Nelson, either.

I'm all for the Sa'ud family actually rolling up their sleeves instead of just breaking out the checkbook.

They're taking a tip from Oman on how to deal with these fighters. Good for them.
