I need to try out nouveau again. I was having issues with libcairo, and it was doing something irritating with menus and stuff(can't remember what anymore), but it's been awhile since I've tried it. I have some 3D games I could test it on too. Nothing too demanding, but if it worked, that would be great. I'd prefer using the libre driver.

Conky is what is doing all the system information.... But by looking at it... that config that he is running is not for the faint of heart.

I don't know which quick launcher is being used at the bottom... I'd be interested in that too.

Nice setup! I'd have to play around with Conky at some point, would be neat to throw in the home temperatures too and other data from my network. I have a monitoring server and all the data is in the same format so once I figure out the syntax it would probably be easy to do everything I need. I have a couple KDE widgets for local stuff so that will do for now.

Also how was that picture taken, that's awesome.
