Saturday: 70+ degrees in DC; today, snow?

Thanks to this random snow (forecasted for days but this transplant Southerner didn't believe it) the 7 hour drive from D.C. to Charlotte took me all of 12 hours today (HORRIBLE I495/I95 traffic due to snow, dropping people off along the way, getting stupid wrong directions to someone's place, bad road construction luck etc.)

Just thought I'd share...

Never lived in the Texas Panhandle have yea? One day it will be 90 degrees the next day it will be 10 degrees with a nice layer of snow out, then the next day it will be the the 90s again. Nothing quite like playing in the snow in shorts and a tee shirt.

The DC weather was all mixed up this weekend. On Saturday, we were admiring our red bud and pear trees - they were blooming and flowering. We were also out and about during the day on Saturday and had to use the A/C in the car because of the heat. Then, I wake up on Sunday morning and big flakes of snow are falling like crazy. Yuck!
