satellite tv question

Thinking about getting dish network. Does the satellite signal run through the same coaxial cable as my ATT cable? Does running it through a splitter affect the picture quality much?

It runs through the same cable, as far as picture quality, I don't know.

Um... Directv Needs RG6 coax cable from the dish to ird... dunno what AT&T uses but i doubt it's RG6

You can get 100' of RG6 Coax Cable for like $30us

it can run thru the same kind of cable but you dont want both on the same cable
if you can help it don't use a splitter
i ran 2 RG-6 cables to my TV one for cable and 1 for sat
thats the best way to do it
