Satan and his sons set 7 year old boy on fire

He's not going to last long if people in jail find out what he did. Personally I would put them both down and do a favor to society.

i gotta admit im speechless. I really don't know what to say about it.

besides that man and his kid should be shot.

Freakin sick SOB's in this world. Hope he gets prison time and his kids juve time with counseling.

I'd rather see him executed.

Not sure about the 15 year old... awfully tempting too - but I cannot dismiss the notion of reform for him. Not that I think prison would facilitate that sort of rehab.

If the human race were dieing off and we needed every single person reform may be an option - may be. As it stands, in this country alone we have 320 million or so people. What this little shit did is unforgivable. He should be shot or sentenced to life in prison without parole. Society and humanity doesn't need him, plain and simple.

This guy looks exactly like the guy a few days ago who broke 20 bones in a 19 year old baby. They are all white guys straight out of the trailer park.

Agreed. Assuming he filmed this, no point in arresting them, just put them both down right here. Maybe the 11 year old can be saved - although my money is on "will need to be put down in a few more years."

It's possible the 15 year old could be tried as an adult. This crime is so heinous I think it would be appropriate.

I'm not sure what to think.

There's no doubt as to the enormity of the crime, however when I look at the entire story I see the father's actions. What if the son was raised in such a horrendous situation that he was taught wrong is right? What if a child is brought up as a sociopath? In that case I can see him being locked up forever or until he's had his head turned around if that's even possible. Punishment though? Can't see it.

My limited understanding is that being tried as an adult would give perpetual care whereas treated as a juvenile he'd be released no matter what. Is that a correct assessment?

Obviously dad is a nut job and almost certainly if the kid was in a normal household he would never have shot his bb gun at more than squirrels.

I disagree vehemently with the concept of trying people as adults, because invariably it only happens when they've done something really nasty. Except the point of not trying juveniles as adults is because, in theory, they are more pliable by surroundings and may benefit from lighter sentencings. It's just silly. I'd rather do away with adult vs non-adult to begin with.

If he's tried as a juvenile he likely goes to juvenile detention and gets out when he's eighteen. If he's tried as an adult, he gets a normal adult sentence, stays in juvenile detention 'til he's 18, then serves the rest in an adult pen. My guess is that the son would get 5-10 years if tried as an adult.
