SATAII?

Just the next gen SATA supporting 300Gbps. Yes G not mb. It also updates the standard supporting NCQ (Native Command Queing and some other minor enhancements).

Probably not. SATA: 2x Serial ATA with RAID 0/1, 2x Serial ATA by Promise 20579 with RAID 0/1/0+1 no SATAII.
 
i have been thinking the same thing... also been thinking this is sata2 drives faster than a raptor drive?

only if they figure out how to get the data from the media to the sata2 hdd controller faster.
 
What kept SATA systems from performing at their peak specs...
The SATA controllers, the HDs, both?

Do SATA HDs bench faster with SATA2 controllers?
