Sata to USB cable

My desktop recently quit on me and I have a WD320 in there with some photography and movies on it. It's not the OS drive so I don't believe I should have a problem transferring any files.

My question is regarding the cable. I did an AT search, but couldn't seem to find anything yet. The only thing I could find so far was from monoprice... seems to be just what I need, and cheap. There was only one review for it though, so just wondering if anybody else knows of something comparable.

Try this.

I was contemplating an enclosure but this is really only temporary. Although, this wouldn't be a bad investment if I purchase another cheap drive making it a decent external backup. I wouldn't leave this connected constantly, but how is the cooling in this enclosure?

Hey guys, I'm kinda thinking of doing the same thing as the TC. I think my desktop finally hit the bucket, and I have very import work on its hardrive that I can't replace...

The drive is the OS(windows XP) one though, and the profile of the files I'm trying to acess is password protected.

Now this the drive I want to acess http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-...da-Ultra/dp/B0000A576D , possibly try and do this from my Dell laptop.

Now can anyone tell me which of the devices posted would work on this hard drive? also what else would I need if the hard drive is the OS one?

thanks a lot!
