I have 2 Seagate 120Gb SATA HDD's hooked up to an Sil3112 SATA PCI card. I want to convert to Raid 1, however I'm having no luck entering the Raid BIOS. I press Ctrl S during boot per the instructions, but it never enters the Raid BIOS. Any advise on what I'm doing wrong?
The Sil3112 Drivers are installed and I'm currently booting from one of the SATA HDD's hooked to the Raid card. Both are hooked up properly, formatted and are listed in Disk Management, Device Manager and My Computer.
I'm running Windows XP SP1.
I have decided to purchase an Adaptec SATA PCI card from Dell. Being that this is the model they install on Raid configurations when ordered from them. I'm just wondering if doing a reformat and reinstall would make it work properly using the Sil3112. Being that I may need to do this with the new card, I don't want to do it now and have it still not work and end up doing it all over again with the Adaptec.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I've heard that the Adaptec is very versital. I have uninstalled my current Silicon Image Sil3112. No matter what I did, it wouldn't enter the Sil3112 BIOS. My Adaptec should be here from Dell next week.
I will post back here with my results.
