sata power supply connector

I'd like to try a sata hardrive, but don't have the special connector from the power supply. Does anyone make an adapter? Also, anyone try a maxtor sata drive? Thanks in advance to all who reply.
 
There are adapters, if you get a retail boxed drive, there should be an adapter in the box.
 
...also, get a Samsung OEM drive (at least from Newegg), and it will come with the adapter.
 
I just installed a Raptor -- it came with provision to use EITHER a four-pin power connector or a SATA power connector (in addition to the SATA data connector).

What about the SATA drive you contemplate using? May have similiar set of connectors.
