SATA not recognized

Suddenly my PC decided not to boot at all and my SATA primary HD was no more recognized.- I have only one Sata and one Ide HDs.-In my Asus A8NSLI Premium setup, all SATAs are in auto mode, and it is not recognized.-
The other IDE slave HD and the DVD/CD reader are recognized.-
I tried plugging the HD in all the SATA sockets, changing the data and power cables, connecting a molex instead of the SATA power cable, with no results.-
The SATA works and boots OK in other PC.-
It seems to be a problem with the SATA controller, is it a solution ?
Thanks
