SATA Laptop Hard drive

I have a SATA drive I'm working on for someone, and I was hoping that it was the same type of SATA connections that a desktop uses.

Does anyone know a good and inexpensive sata laptop hard drive adaptor, so I can plug it into my desktop and backup the data on it?

Seagate is telling me this is a SATA 2.5 drive.

No they don't work, I even contacted seagate tech support and they didn't know, LOL.
