SATA II

How do u get 3Gbps data rate for a SATAII capable drive or 1.5Gbps for SATA drives. Which maxtor, seagate and WD drives are capable of SATA II right now?

None. If you shopped, you'd know. I don't think any SATA II drives are even in the works at the big companies for the near future.

The benefits of SATA II only come into play with some kind of RAID setup, which would require a special controller rather than special drives. A single drive would never be able to saturate that much bandwidth.
