Premiertek SIDE-0002 $8.99 with free shipping

USB 2.0 to 2.5" / 3.5" SATA / IDE Hard Drive Adapter(Cable Adapter /Converter), with Auto Backup Button, Full 2A Power Supply

This will instantly convert any drive into a USB drive. Every computer tech should have something like this!

Note that it does not have an enclosure, so you'll only want to use this on a temporary basis. Also, some reports of the included power brick failing, which is on par with all the other devices of this type.

These things are great to have around.
Most recently used one to connect a cd/dvd drive to a netbook for a repair.
Got a similar model from Mwave a year ago, think it was ~12 bucks at the time.

What power brick? Nothing is mentioned in the description or specs... or pictures. What connector does it have? In the case of the 44-pin connector, you'd be unable to use it at all.

power supply not pictured but in specs, for 4pin connector...I think a typo on your side. They usually have PS, these cables.

It is in the main title/description of the item, a 2A power brick. It will have a 4-pin peripheral connector (the one that everyone calls a Molex™).
