Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+
Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-9 (Updated to most recent BIOS to support X2 [F4])
OCZ PowerStream 520W PSU
Corsair XMS 2GB DDR400
Radeon X800XL
36GB WD Raptor SATA150
80GB Hitachi Deskstar SATA2
300GB Maxtor DiamondMax 10 SATA150
Plextor 712a DVD+-RW SATA
NEC ND-3540a

Preface:
I went through alot of trouble for Windows to recognize the HDDs, went through a number of different drivers, but finally got Windows to install on my Raptor. Was also having issues with the BIOS simply recognizing any SATA drive existed. But by using the RAID utility w/ the motherboard I setup the Raptor as JBOD. The BIOS now recognizes a drive in SATA slot 0, but doesn't see any specs of the drive.

Dilema:
So the problem is I can't get the computer to boot to my Raptor, or any other SATA drive for that matter, including the Plextor (oddly enough, under the Boot Priority, the BIOS finds the Plextor drive but I can't boot to it anyways). Under First/Second/Third Boot Priority, there are no options for any of my SATA HDDs or SATA itself, only Hard Disk. And under Hard Disk Boot Priority, there is no option for SATA and it doesn't detect any of my HDDs.

I am once again completely lost.

Plea:
Please oh please won't someone help me!

Your nvidia controller is set to RAID in BIOS while it should be set at base or SATA. You know that this board has 2 SATA/RAID controllr? Just make sure you picked the right one.. and using the RAID/SATA drivers for the onboard one(not the nvidia one).

Disable RAID for the nvidia controller, plug in your HDD and let it go.. it will detect all your drive fine and windows will install without any drivers.
