bought the Western Digitial 250 gb SATA drivwe back in labor day from CompUSA and yesterday when i try installing it and some problem pop up. I am usaign soyo kt600 which got 2 intergaled sata port. When i try booting up my computer, the new hdd didn;t show up in boot bios and naturally it is not shoulding up in window as well. I tried to use the sata cable that come with my mb instead of that sata guard cable from WD and it will won;t load the hdd. What are the possibility:
1. Hdd is doa
2. Both sata cables that I used are no good
3. Both sata port in my mb is dead.

I have made sured that I enabled the sata port on my mb and set the mode to ide mode since i am not running it in raid. And i am almost possitive that the hdd has power and si spinning because when i pulling it out at first it is slughtly warm to touch.

What is the most kikely possibility and should i return it and get a repalcement to see of ti work or not?
