sata hardrive question

im trying to install a sata hardrive and i put in the sata cable but now i have 2 power input which one do i use

the 4 pin one or the thin skinney one do i use both or just one ?

i hope this makes sense lol

If the drive has both 4-pin ("molex") and SATA (what you called "the thin skinney (sic) one") power inputs, you can use either.

You don't need to plug in both. Some documentation says you shouldn't plug both in, but it probably won't break anything.

if you like to see sparks.. plug in both.. most drive label says do not use both

do not plug in both. Use one or the other. I suggest using the sata plugs if you have them.
