SATA hard drive is slower after upgrading to XP SP3

My new Jetway J7F2WE2G motherboard came in and I did a clean install of XP SP2. Doing a test on CrystalBenchMark, my sequential read and write speeds were about 40MB/s. However, I was having hibernation problems so I did a clean install of XP SP3 (no more hibernation problems now). However, using the same benchmark tool, my speed has decreased to about 25MB/s sequential read and write. Ive checked all my device manager settings to make sure DMA mode is on, as well as installing the sata drivers for my board.

In the BIOS, Ive enabled IDE Prefetch and IDE Block Mode. I am not sure what else I can do to bump up my speeds back to the old 40MB/s. Anyone have any ideas? I am using a Seagate 80gb 5400rpm drive.
