SATA Drive problems

I currently have a RAID0 setup, they are currently connected to SATA controller, however when I add another disk to a open SATA channel windows shows that it connects but it does not show the drive under disk management.

What do i have setup incorrectly? Does something need to be setup in the bios?

That slot might have been allocated to RAID under BIOS, in which case the OS wouldn't see it, but your RAID management software would. Disabling RAID for that slot would then make it visible to the OS.
