SATA controller Card needed

I bought a SATA drive to use on the ASUS P4PE motherboard. Now, as far as I can find out, it only supports the SATA as a RAID. I want to use the drive as the only drive in the computer. What are my options for a PCI controller card to drive the SATA? What have you used and what works and what does not work.
Thanks for any suggestions.
